oSTEM at U of M

We are ordering another batch of our amazing SAGE shirts in preparation for Spring Pride Week.

If you would like to order a SAGE T-Shirt, please fill out an order form. The shirt desgin is shown below as well as in many of our photos. They have the SAGE logo on the front and say “Engineering a more fabulous world on the back.” The shirts will cost $10.00 and are available in rainbow colors. The deadline for orders is March 5th (NOTE: This is the Friday during Sping Break). The shirts will be available for pick-up the week of Spring Pride if not sooner. Payment will be expected when you pick-up the shirt. We can take cash or check, and please write checks to The Student Alliance of Gay Engineers. If you have any questions, please contact Gary Wilks (gwwilks@umich.edu) or any SAGE officer.

Remember the deadline is March 5th. We look forward to seeing SAGE support around campus.

Next Monday the ACLU and the LGBT Commission of the Michigan Student Assembly will be having a Diag Day to educate and encourage support of gender neutral housing here at U of M. It would be great to have you join us in raising awareness about this crucial issue and to remind Housing that their mission is to provide the most it can for its students.

It will be on the diag from 11am-2pm on Monday the 16th.

Also a committee is currently working on a formal proposal and
reccomendations to the university. If any of you have any questions about the issue, the diag day, or has an interest in working with on gender neutral housing with this committee please shoot me an email to Bobby Mushroe at bmush@umich.edu.
