by gwwilks on Jul.06, 2011, under Uncategorized
Hi Everyone,
I hope the Summer is going well for everyone. I just wanted to clarify that there are no meetings this Summer, but Manan and I are working to get oSTEM ready to kick off the Fall semester strong. In the meantime, we welcome any advice, comments, or questions that we can use to make oSTEM better for you and for others. Feel free to send an e-mail to oSTEM-Officers@umich.edu, and we will be happy to chat with you. Also, if you would like to be added to either our member list or alumni list, we would be happy to help you.
It’s been a great year so far, and I hope we can make it even better.
Sincerely,
Gary and Manan

oSTEM Speaker Series Follow-Up
by gwwilks on Mar.05, 2011, under Uncategorized
Hey oSTEM!
I apologize for the late follow-up, but we had some technical difficulties. Anyways, I want to thank our lovely February speaker, Bio – Sarah Siegel for oSTEM, for taking the time to come visit her alma mater. She gave a great presentation, and gave us some great things to think about.
For those that were unable to attend, you can view her written version of the presentation. Also, as promised, Sarah has allowed me to post the results from the anonymous survey as well as Seven Tips for Integrating Personal and Professional Identities. The latter document also includes contact information for Sarah in case you would like to ask her any specific questions about her presentation or IBM.
As always, feel free to contact oSTEM-Officers@umich.edu with any questions, thoughts, or concerns.
Have a great day, and I hope to see you at our next meeting on March 9th at 8pm in Pierpont Commons, Corner Conference Room.

We hope to see you at the second installment of our speaker series to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Spectrum Center.
